The performance «Cold Fish» is the result of the collaboration between Samovarteateret and the Polish contemporary dance company Silesian Dance Theatre.
Samovarteateret’s dancer Nikolay Shchetnev and Polish dancer Anna Piotrowska have been inspired by the nature, the people and the fish here in the north. The result is an abstract, funny and moving performance dealing with the questions to fish or not to fish, to be or not to be fish, about a woman who can’t be a man, and a man who can be a woman, it’s about borders, freedom, intimacy and longings, and last but not least – how to prepare a first-class fish.
